Blogs - make your stories heard!

What do you have to say about the SDGs?

We all have a story. It shapes our past, our present, and future. It determines our ideologies, our worldview, our ambitions. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development has outlined five core pillars central to sustainable development - people, planet, prosperity, peace & partnership.  As young people, comprising close to 50% of the world population, we have the unique opportunity and responsibility to contribute to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals. The goals are universally agreed and requisites to achieving a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient future. They are manifested differently in different contexts, cultures, and situations.

UN MCGY is starting a blog series to reflect the views of young people on the implementation, monitoring, follow-up, and review of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We want to hear from YOU! Within the scope of Goals 6 (Access to safe water and sanitation services),  7(Affordable and clean energy ), 11 (Sustainable cities and communities), 12 (Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns), 15 (Life on land), and 17 (Partnerships) . - tell us what you are passionate about, emerging trends/issues, and progress in implementing the SDGs within your national/local context!

A few guidelines - include citations, at least one infographic/image/picture, 500-900 words.
